Sue Braun has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, has a food handler's License and prior to opening the daycare had worked as a Teaching Assistant in U-46 elementary schools for 5 years.
Gene Braun has a B.S. in Elementary Education and is a former second grade teacher.
They are parents of five children aged 20 to 30. All of their children are licensed to assist in the daycare. Sue, Gene, and Phil, their oldest son and assistant, are CPR and First Aid Certified.

Our philosophy at Braun Family Daycare is to provide a warm, loving, and safe family oriented environment in which children can express their creativity, develop social skills, grow intellectually, and build trusting relationships. We provide a positive, stimulating atmosphere for learning with many opportunities for children to develop language, social, emotional, and large and small motor skills. We believe in recognizing each child as an individual. We work to help children build self-confidence and self-esteem as a result of positive daily experiences.
